This year Sick Beatz are hosting 3 events throughout November in memory of Wayeta Garrett. There are other promotors who will hold their own events linked in with Sick Beatz also raising money. These include Acid Assault, Rebellion Techno, Dirty As Funk, Open Source, Fried Egg Beats, FOD, Tek-Connektion more maybe confirmed soon.
A group of DJs are working together to raise money for MS Society in this Fundraver event.
▂▃▅▆ Who are The MS Society? ▆▅▃▂
The MS Society funds research and support for those affected by Multiple Sclerosis.
▂▃▅▆ What is MS? ▆▅▃▂
MS is a degenerative, neurological condition that affects everyone differently. The Myelin (The coating that covers the nerves) are damaged. The condition can affect both the brain and the spinal cord.
As a general doctors will treat the symptoms rather than the illness itself. There are many medical treatments to help control the condition from hebal and alternative therapies to medical drugs.
There are 4 types of MS:
– Relapse & Remitting
– Secondary Progressive,
-Primary Progressive
-Progressive Relapsing.

Playing a mix of US, European and UK techno since way back in the 90’s, London-based Pat Hurley got his first gigs with People 4 People sound system and gone on to play for Unsound, Shtonka, Hardware, The Satellite club, Insanity, Defcom 1, Pendulum, Parallel Youniversity, Megatripolis, Analogue City, Absolute, Redeye, E1 sound, One Louder, Uber, Mindscapes, Techno in the City, Fabric, KSS, Family Groove, Butterfly Effect, Electronic 17, Resonate and Futurist, as well as co-promoting events such as Solution, Beyond and pistonTec.
He’s also played all around the UK including the Glastonbury festival and abroad in France, Holland, Italy, Spain and Japan.
He runs the Open Source record label, on which he releases his own productions as well as tracks from artists such as Mike Humphries, Jeff Amadeus, Maxx, Sunil Sharpe, Tearz, Sebastien Marx, MUtaTe & DistoRt and Fabulous 23s.
He presents the Wired Radio Show on the last Saturday of every month 5pm – 7pm on www.reelrebelsradio.com
