It’s gonna be Techno textures\, riffs and rhythms all the way!! \n9pm-10pm – GIZELLE REBEL YELLE\n10pm-11pm – PAT HURLEY \n———————————————————————— \n* PAT HURLEY * \nPat Hurley has been playing a mix of US\, European and UK Techno since way back in the 90’s\, mainly on the London underground party circuit. \nOriginally from Ireland\, he is a London-based DJ and got his first gigs playing for People 4 People sound system and then went on to play for various sound systems\, underground parties and club nights such as Unsound\, Shtonka\, Hardware\, The Satellite Club\, Insanity\, Defcom 1\, Pendulum\, Parallel Youniversity\, Megatripolis\, Analogue City\, Absolute\, Redeye\, E1 Sound\, One Louder\, Uber\, Mindscapes\, Techno in the City\, Fabric\, KSS and Family Groove. As well as playing on the underground party scene\, he was also involved co-promoting events such as Solution\, Beyond and PistonTec. \nSince those early days\, he has played all around the UK including Glastonbury festival and abroad in France\, Holland\, Italy\, Spain and Japan. \nAs well as DJ-ing and running his own label\, Pat has been contributing to underground dance music behind the scenes for many years. He ran his own dance music distribution company\, Electronik\, for 10 years from 2003 to 2013 importing and exporting Techno all over the world. We hope you enjoy the show!!! \n9pm-10pm – GIZELLE REBEL YELLE\n10pm-11pm – JEFF AMADEUS \n———————————————————————— \n*** JEFF AMADEUS *** \nJeff Amadeus grew up in Paris\, listening to Rap\, Ragga and all types of dance music in the early 90s. In 1994 he was inspired by the Dutch Hardcore\, which he heard for the first time watching the Thunderdome Compilations on French TV Channels. This was the moment that Jeff got bitten by the the Hardcore/Gabba bug. He was fascinated by this heavy music\, which inspired him to become to become a DJ. \nAfter living for years in Paris/France\, he moved to Geneva/Switzerland where he started to play House music and got his first experiences playing at local clubs and parties. The stay in Geneva was not for long\, because he soon realised that he wanted to go to London\, the dance capital of Europe. \nOn his arrival to London in 1998\, he finally found the music that fitted his personality the best: Techno. With all its flavours\, he found this sound very powerful combining house grooves and hardcore elements all in one form. He also discovered great DJs such as Carl Cox\, Mark Williams\, Ben Simms\, The Liberators and Dave Clark\, who all gave him the inspiration to play and produce dance music. He felt that Techno gave him a voice\, a direction and a lifestyle. \nIn 2000\, Jeff formed Squat Records\, a label project from him to all the real Techno Lovers. This record label became very popular on the underground scene with 7 releases. \nFollowing this\, he soon released tracks on established underground labels such as Industrial Strength\, Cluster Records\, Stay Up Forever\, Hydraulix Records\, Teknik\, Polymeric\, Men In Motion\, Vox Populis\, Hurricane\, Know Records\, Artillery Records\, Guild Records and Fenek Records. We hope you enjoy the show! \n9pm-10pm – GIZELLE REBEL YELLE\n10pm-11pm – ZEBEDEE \n————————————————————————- \n* DJ Zebedee * International London Underground Since 1993 \nFor all you underground techno music heads who don’t know\, Zebedee is an established and highly respected techno DJ who made his mark playing on various sound systems for the underground party scene and running the legendary Trancentral party nights in mid-late 90’s. He has been djing in the London underground party scene since 1993\, and is world renowned for his distinctive Hard/funky/Tribal acid sets. \nHis passion for DJ-ing and the free party scene began at aged 16 when he lived in a squat with a crew called The Rainbow Tribe\, after helping the crew run an information stall at Tribal Energy night at the Rocket venue in north London\, Zebedee (known as Zeb) landed his first gig and soon became a monthly resident at the club. \nDuring the early/mid 90s he teamed up with mate Lawrence to form an underground system called Restless Natives\, and the pair were soon organising underground squat parties all over London. Zeb’s international career began to take off around this time\, when he landed his first gigs at Shambala in Vienna and at a Zilch promotions night in Amsterdam playing alongside Laurie Immersion. He also held down a monthly residency at Feverish\, in Bristol’s Lakota Nightclub\, and made nationwide guest appearances at Escape from Samsara\, Pendragon \, Havok \, Eurobeat and Homegrown. \nFollowing the success of their regular parties around London\, Zeb and Lawrence launched the infamous club night\, Trancentral. Hailed as London’s best underground techno night at the time\, Trancentral remained a permanent fixture in the party scene\, until it closed its doors in early 2001. \nDuring their partnership \, Zeb and Lawrence also started a label called ORGANGRINDER\, and Zeb released his first two 12”s ORGANGRINDER 01 DOGS ON ROPE\, and ORGANGRINDER 02 WIERDO MAGNET. Other artists feature on the label included Guy “Geezer” McAffer\, Gizelle and Lawrie Immersion among others. \nZeb then embarked on a solo Australasian tour\, which saw him play at parties and club’s throughout Australia and New Zealand. Upon returning to London Zeb carried on with the Restless Native sound system. SO 3 HRS NON STOP 🙂 \nBlack Asteroid is the brainchild of Bryan Black. Bryan started his career as a sound designer for Prince. While working with Prince at Paisley Park Studios\, Bryan learned and honed sound and production skills which inspired him to start his own band. Bryan moved to London England and launched a band called MOTOR. The first MOTOR demo was quickly signed to Novamute. After 2 singles\, MOTOR were cata- pulted to the top of the techno world\, sharing stages with Daft Punk and Kraftwerk at major festivals\, and later embarking on a World tour supporting Depeche Mode in 2009. \nIn early 2011\, Bryan decided to start Black Asteroid to showcase an exciting new sound. It was time re-capture the techno world. The debut ‘The Engine EP’ is the first release out now on CLR. The Engine EP has since topped the charts and is regarded as one of the most daring and successful techno releases of 2011. \nDave Clarke\, who already played an early demo of the Engine EP long before it came out\, contributed a highly energetic remix for the peak time moments of the night. His take on Engine 1 is called “Unsubscribe Remix” and was produced by himself and Mr. Jones. The Engine remix EP was subsequently released and Black Asteroid quickly found himself on a World tour. Before and after gigs\, Bryan started crafting exciting new material to follow up on the success of Engine 1 and Engine 2.
