A monthly instalment with one of Liverpool’s most respected techno parties. This month sees Paddy Hooley return to the decks with 303 head honcho Kenny Muir playing ahead of his birthday…
4 years and going strong, 303 have brought some of the finest and most groundbreaking names to the city. With line-ups including artists such as Robert Hood, Andrew Weatheral, James Zabiela and Daniel Avery, it is no surprise that their intimate affairs sell out time after time. Tune in each month for broadcasts from the 303 team as they showcase their residents and invite special guests into our studio to present some of the best techno Liverpool (and beyond) has to offer…
After a summer heading to festivals and al fresco parties across the North West, 303 returns to the Williamson Tunnels with a season including the likes of Dave Clarke, Andrew Weatherall and Steve Parry. This month Paddy Hooley is joined by Gemma Muir.
Based in Sheffield, Don’t Look Now exists to bring sounds from the peripheries of electronic music to intimate dance floors across the city as well as further afield. Although loosely residing within the field of techno, they have had a diverse range of past guests including Anthony Naples, Beneath, Karen Gwyer, Jon K, Trevino, Volte-Face as well as Liverpool local Mark Forshaw to name a few.
Resident DJs Nomadic and Deburgh have journeyed across the Pennines to the Melodic Distraction HQ to bring you two hours worth of music from across the dance music spectrum as well as a few weirder numbers and surprises thrown into the mix. Expect a range of ambient, dub, industrial, techno, electro and everything in between!
They just launched their next party in Sheffield, with Intergalactic Gary bringing his wealth of experience to The Harley on December 15th.
Squat Project aka Mark Witts has been Dj’ing and producing from the late 90’s and was heavily influenced by the underground scene and rave organisations such as Dreamscape and Helter Skelter. With many 1000’s of vinyl multiple styles are covered but when it comes to producing Acid is the main focus.
Squat Project has recent releases on Fnoob Digital, Xtreme Hard Traxx, Underground V.I.P and various other sub labels of SDL Recordings.
