*** THIS SHOW IS DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY OF BRYAN WEBSTER, OUR FELLOW COMRADE, FRIEND & RAVER ***
The REBEL YELLE SHOW is back after an end of summer festival season break with GIZELLE REBEL YELLE back in the hot seat at OPTICAL RADIO and special guest LOUISE+1… together spinning classic Old Skool tunes from Acid House to early 90’s Techno to warm you up during the Autumn Equinox.
This show is also dedicated to our fellow raver, friend & comrade, Bryan Webster, who recently lost his life alongside his lovely new girlfriend, Rachel, in a tragic accident. The same weekend there will be an all day event produced by his close friends in his honour, so I thought it would be good to contribute by sending him some good vibes through the airwaves on the Friday evening as well. He loved sunflowers, hence the chosen picture for this event, and this does represent his personality! 🙂
We hope you enjoy the show and look forward to getting back in the studio and playing some classic quality tunes! ENJOY!!! 🙂

*** LOUSE+1 ***
Louise+1 has built up a solid reputation as an innovative, cutting edge DJ within the UK underground scene over nearly two decades. She is renowned for her musical knowledge and particular DJ style playing a wide spectrum of Old Skool dance.
Originally starting off playing for the London based squat sound system “Shtonka” in the late 90’s, she quickly progressed to playing for a number of different promotions and was the person behind the hugely successful ReRaveAll night held at the legendary Dungeons in Lea Bridge Road and Mass in Brixton, which showcased artists such as Jerome Hill, Break, Silent Witness, D Bridge,Woody Mcbride, Chase & Status, The Surgeon, 2 Bad Mice and Top Buzz.
Louise is constantly trying to promote quality within the scene and has been co running Distant Planet for the past three years, a quality night, which features the best Old Skool DJs who dig deep into their collections, all playing vinyl.
Earlier this year, Louise made her Glastonbury Festival debut alongside DJ Hughesee, playing with Miss Pink at Bloc 9, Brianwash and the Chelsea Crew Bar. She also plays at Rupture one of London’s most successful Drum’n’Bass and Old Skool nights held at Corsica Studios and in October is due to play at Long Live Beautifully Crafted Jungle at the Bunker in Deptford and Kapow at Club Union.
Spinning everything from Acid House to Jungle and from Electro to Techno, Louise is extremely versatile and will rock any dance floor.
The Rebel Yelle show is recorded live on the first Friday of the month 9pm-11pm and then repeated every Friday same time during the rest of the month and on Wednesdays 5pm-7pm. Enjoy!
