HARD BART – originally from Poland from where he moved over to U.K (London) in 1998. That’s where his passion for turntables and techno music has properly kicked in…so he got on decks. In almost no time at all he was rocking some serious London sound systems such as : Manik , Malfaiteurs , Fu.Q , Solid to name just a few and he was also one of the few DJs who originally first started now legendary Every1Sound. His name started to appear next to those biggest names in London’s underground music scene (without naming as everyone knows who they are) and he could be frequently seen in best clubs too including The Mass, The Fridge, George IV, 414, Purple Turtle, Dukes and so on (even once Heaven;)Recently he got involved in Undergound music production too and has released a couple of tunes on labels GENERATOR U.K (Digital) and POLYMERIC Records (12” vinyl)…and he’s got many projects on the way , to be released in the very nearest future….so look out because this talented DJ is technically very skilled…and turns out to be quite a banging producer too.
Tassid comes from Portsmouth UK. He got into DJing after his early experiences at free parties and squat parties, where London Underground techno and acid techno was the main sound. He fell in love with the music in those early days and has been into that sound ever since!
His main influences are the Stay Up Forever Collective including Chris, Aaron and Julian Liberator, D.A.V.E the Drummer, Guy McAffer, Rowland the Bastard, Ant, DDR and Lawrie Immersion etc, but Tassid has also taken influence from some good Schranz producers such as Boris. s and Arkus.P.
Tassid has been making techno for fun for many years, but in 2009 he upgraded his studio and is now a full on producer in his own right.
He is the co-founder of System Rejects vinyl label, alongside Austin Corrosive, OB1, and MK 303, and he is the owner of Skuxx digital label on 909london.com. As well as his own labels, Tassid has releases on other labels such as, Corrosive Records, Cluster, Cluster 909, Stereo Chaos, Interstate One, Impact UK, and Acid Test.
In recent years Tassid had been getting back into DJing, playing all over the UK, as well as in countries such as Brazil, Poland, and Spain and is continually pushing his own style of London Underground Techno and Acid!!
Alan first found his love for techno at the Complex in Islington in 1997, but his interest in electronica stems back to as far as 1983 when he first heard Jean Michel Jarres “Oxygen” at a local fireworks and lighting display. Since then, Alan has developed his sound and production style into the harder end of the techno spectrum. Taking influences from a vast array of artists, from R&S, React, Underground Resistance, Prolekult, SUF and many others; his DJ style has become hard and energetic with relentless rhythm and sub bass laden grooves that have become synonymous within the hard techno fraternity. His production skills stem from studio sessions D.a.v.e The Drummer at the Punishment Farm, where a concept of mono-synthesis to create all of the track parts using only a kick drum was realized. Now his production is fusing many styles together to bring a fast paced, high energy platform with the sounds of techno, acid and drum and base. In events, his education in “Music and Events” and “Creating Music Through Technology” has brought his skills a long way, with a vast amount of integration with the Antiworld indoor festivals and various other smaller parties, this extensive experience includes working with some of the undergrounds highly respected professionals in event and stage production, promotion, performing arts, distribution, room management, décor’ installation & administration. Now Alan is an integral part of Killawatts Records and is involved in as much of the organization as he was with Antiworld; and also holds residencies with the Vorteks Sound-system where various bookings are springing up at festivals in the Uk and his schedule is filling up. Alan has a history of promotional and performance jobs with the Stay Up Forever Collective, including Guy “Geezer” McGaffer’s “Ave Some Of That You W*nkers” album launch party and the long running Nuclear Free Zone & Smash Techno parties at the 414, with various showcases with the NRGized party crew, playing every Thursday at Tekno @ the George and making his debut festival performance at the Rebound Collective festival on the Orpheus & Friends stage; as well as recent unscheduled showcases on the Hub, Every1Sounds, StinkyPink, Ardcore, Underkonstruktion, Hackney Sounds and various other rigs that have all become synonymous in the underground rave movement. Jamie Taylor aka TiK ToK started out using mod plug tracking software whilst in his early teens on what was then low end PC’s and when more flexible DAW’s hit the market he switched after working and saving up for more & better studio equipment. At 17 he signed his first record deal with 2CB which was a crossover / tech hard dance label, he was then picked up by Nukleuz Records DJ Ed Real who mentored him up for a few years, Ed eventually left Nukleuz to start his own Label Riot! While in the Hard Dance club circuit doing the gigs he bumped into Chris Liberator who really liked the set and mentioned it was his own material and because of its techy crossover sound Chris took a load of demos off Jamie and signed his first release with Cluster and later on Super Conductor.
Over time Jamie has had many releases on Stay Up Forevers sub labels and other European Techno labels with lots of successful chart releases in Top 10’s globally.
